Building upon the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) Human Connectome Project, the Baby Connectome Project (BCP) aims to study 500 normally developing infants and children 0 to 5 years old over 4 years. The first comprehensive imaging study focuses on early brain development using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) without sedation.
